§ 54-42. Penalties.

(a)

A person who shall intentionally, knowingly, recklessly or with criminal negligence violate any provision of this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined in an amount not to exceed $500.00. Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense.

(b)

When required by Texas Family Code § 51.07 as amended, the municipal court shall waive original jurisdiction over a minor who violates section 54-39(a) and shall refer the minor to juvenile court.
